Privacy notice
This page sets out, in plain words, what happens to the personal details you give PrimeFix247 Ltd.
Who is responsible
PrimeFix247 Ltd, company number 17339100, at Unit 7, Trafford Moss Road, Trafford Park, Manchester, M17 1SQ, decides how your details are used and is the controller under UK data protection law. Questions about your data go to [email protected] or 07893 933403.
What we collect, and when
- Through the enquiry form or the chat with Prime: your name, a phone number or email address, and whatever else you add, such as your postcode and what has happened.
- By phone or WhatsApp: your number, the address of the job, what you tell us about it, and any photos you send.
- On a job: the address, the work done, the time spent, the parts used, and the invoice and payment.
- On this website: if you click Accept on the cookie banner, Metricool records how the site is used and which link or advert brought you here. If you decline, it isn’t loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser so you aren’t asked again.
- Against spam: a one-way scrambled version of your internet address is kept for a day to stop a form being sent over and over. It can’t be turned back into your address.
Why we use it
- To contact you about the problem you reported and to carry out the work. The legal basis is taking steps towards, and performing, a contract with you.
- To keep invoices and job records, which tax law requires.
- To understand how the website is used, only if you accept cookies. That is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
We don’t sell your details or send you marketing.
Who sees it
- Our staff and the engineer sent to you.
- Companies that provide services to us: Cloudflare (hosting the website, the form and the chat), Google (email) and Metricool (website statistics, if you accept). They may use your details only to provide those services.
- Anyone we are legally required to share them with, such as HMRC.
How long we keep it
- An enquiry that doesn’t become a job: 12 months.
- Job records, invoices and payments: six years after the job.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, for it to be corrected, for it to be deleted (unless the law says we must keep it), or object to how it is used. Email [email protected] and we’ll reply within a month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
