Will you damage my door to get me in?
The locksmith tries to open the lock without damage first. Some locks, especially high-security cylinders, can't be picked or bypassed, and then the cylinder is drilled or snapped and replaced. You'll be told before that happens.
Do I need to prove I live there?
Yes. Have something that ties you to the address ready, such as a bill, a bank card with the address, a tenancy agreement on your phone, or a neighbour who knows you. We won't open a door for someone who can't show they live there.
How much is an emergency locksmith?
