Why each one matters
Accreditation logos are easy to put on a website. What matters is whether the registration is real, current, and covers the work being done. Below is what each body we work with actually certifies, and how to check us against their register. Our numbers are listed beside each logo further down the page.
Gas Safe Register is the legal register of engineers permitted to work on gas appliances in the UK. It replaced CORGI. Any plumber who touches your boiler, gas hob or gas pipework must be on it, and each engineer's card lists the categories of work they are qualified for. You can check an engineer by their licence number or by business name on the Gas Safe Register website, and you should ask to see the card on the doorstep.
NICEIC assesses electrical contractors and their work against the current wiring regulations. A NICEIC approved contractor can self-certify notifiable electrical work under Part P of the Building Regulations, which means a consumer unit replacement or new circuit is certified without a separate council inspection. The NICEIC website has a register of approved contractors.
FENSA and Certass are competent person schemes for replacement window and door installations. Registration means the installer can self-certify that replacement windows meet building regulations for thermal performance and safety glazing, and you receive a certificate you will need when selling the house.
TrustMark is the government-endorsed quality scheme covering work in and around the home. It requires a registered business to meet standards on technical competence, customer service and trading practices, and provides a route to dispute resolution.
CHAS assesses health and safety management, and is the accreditation commercial clients and letting agents most often ask for before adding a contractor to their approved list.
How to verify us
Each body maintains an online register. Search by our business name or the registration number shown below. If a number does not appear, or the registration has lapsed, do not use us until we have explained why. Registration numbers on this page are kept current; if you find one that is not, tell us.

Gas Safe registration is held by the business and each individual engineer, and every plumber who works on gas has their own licence card. NICEIC approval is held by the business, with a named qualified supervisor responsible for the standard of electrical work.
02Will I get a certificate for the work?
Yes, where the work is notifiable or certifiable. Electrical work comes with an Electrical Installation Certificate or Minor Works Certificate. Gas work on a landlord property comes with a Landlord Gas Safety Record. Replacement windows come with a FENSA or Certass certificate.
03Can you provide insurance documents for my managing agent?
Yes. We provide public liability, employer's liability and accreditation certificates on request, and can supply the health and safety documentation most agents and commercial clients need to add us to an approved contractor list.
