Sale's 1930s semis mostly carry uPVC double glazing fitted at various points since the style became standard, while the newer apartment developments near the Metrolink and Trafford Wharf run more recent double or triple glazing units. The semis are where we see most of our misted-unit calls, simply because a lot of the original replacement double glazing across Sale is now well past the point where seal failure becomes common. Properties nearer the water park and canal occasionally need extra attention to frame condition where damp has been a longer-term issue.

Streets around Brooklands and towards Sale Water Park show a fairly consistent pattern of 1980s and 90s uPVC glazing now reaching the end of its useful seal life, which is why misted units are by far our most common call-out in this part of the area.
