Worsley's conservation village has small-paned timber casement and leaded-light windows on many of its mock-Tudor cottages, a distinct style from anything else we cover and one that needs a careful, often bespoke approach to repair rather than an off-the-shelf replacement pane. The newer estates towards Boothstown run standard modern uPVC glazing, generally sound, where the most common call is a straightforward misted unit as the earliest of these developments reach 15 to 20 years old.
