Hale's large detached houses, many of them close to the village and Ashley Road, tend to run three or four bathrooms off a single unvented cylinder, plus a kitchen, utility room and often a separate shower room in a converted outbuilding or garden room. That's a lot of demand on one system, and it's the most common reason for the pressure and hot water complaints we see here — not a fault exactly, just a system working at its limit. Hard water across this part of Cheshire also means limescale builds up faster in cylinders, showers and taps than in softer-water areas, shortening the working life of anything with a heating element.
